Will the magnets affect my electronics?Updated 5 days ago
While neodymium magnets are powerful, the magnets in MagLock Sunglasses WILL NOT affect most electronics:
Your phone and phone calls will not be affected. In fact, magnetic smartphone mounts are quite popular—and there are magnets in your phone already, none of which will be affected by the magnets in these sunglasses.
Other items not affected include vehicle keys, USB sticks, memory cards, CDs, DVDs, digital cameras. Check out this great video demonstration of things not affected by magnets!
🧲 EXCEPTIONS:
There are exceptions—such as old monitors or TV screens—but it takes a very large magnet to affect an older hard drive (Breaking Bad, anyone?) and the magnets we use simply aren’t that powerful.
Some hearing aids may react or become damaged if magnets are deliberately placed on them, so we would not recommend using MagLock if you have hearing aids, nor if you have a pacemaker or other implant that is sensitive to magnets.
